The Schistoscope 3B is a portable, automated microscopy device for detecting and mapping Schistosomiasis Haematobium, a neglected tropical disease that affects over 240 million people worldwide. There is a lack of knowledge on the disease’s prevalence, a solution to which is this device.
Video shows the context of the device, the prototype and its working.
